Why is my 3-month-old kitten not eating and has green/red poop?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Female | unspayed | 9 lbs

My 3 months old kitten suddenly stopped eating since two days, & her poop is green with a tint of red, & I am not sure if it has worms or not, just two days before I have given her no worms after a couple of days she stopped eating, & lost quite weight. I have tried giving her cypon but still she doesn't eat anything at all since past two days. She's not having fever, cold, diarrhoea or any visible ailment. Is she suffering from any infection? Is it communicable?

I strongly recommend an urgent vet check and fecal exam - profuse diarrhea and inappetance is very serious in such a young kitten and could rapidly lead to severe dehydration and debilitation. Offer only bland feeds of boiled chicken, fish or egg in the meantime, with an added probiotic such as fortiflora
