No, that isn't correct. It isn't safe to give dogs aspirin, even baby aspirin. It cause GI ulcers ad bleeding. If Lily can hardly walk on it, she needs to see a vet because she is in a lot of pain. Also, swelling is concerning for either a significant injury (fracture/dislocation), an infection or abscess (pocket of pus), or in older animals we worry about cancers. I would call the vet first thing in the morning to get an appointment for him to be seen. He's limping because he's in pain, and since he is so young, it's very important he's seen by a vet as soon as possible to make sure he doesn't have an injury such as a broken bone that negatively affects his growth. Medications such as Advil, Aspirin or Tylenol can be fatally toxic to dogs, and should not be given. They can also interfere with medications that your veterinarian will want to prescribe when he/she sees Eva on Monday. The best thing you can do to help Eva in the meantime is restrict her activity. If she has a crate, I recommend keeping her in this during the day and night, except for taking her out on a leash to urinate/defecate outside 3-4 times per day. If you don't have a crate, keeping her restricted to one room in the house where she cannot run or jump on/off things will be the most helpful. If you feel that Eva is in too much pain - i.e. she is whining or crying constantly - she should be seen by an emergency veterinarian and you should not wait until Monday. I hope this is helpful!

I would not recommend continuing with the aspirin, it can be dangerous for dogs. a bandage is probably not the solution either. if it is just a sprain then he should get better within a few days of complete rest (no stairs, no jumping and very short walks). if the problem persists then this is probably arthritis which is very common in large breeds. if this is the case you will have to take him to the vet in order to get treated as he will need dog specific medications for this condition.
