Why is my dog struggling to jump on the bed after a long car ride?

Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 3 months old | 70 lbs

my dog can walk normal everything seems fine but yesterday after a long trip in our car he had problems getting on the bed and scretched when I tried pushing him to the side on my bed which he never does also needed my help getting up when he normally jumps no problem. but he walks fine doesn't act weird but on the bed in the morning he did groal when I tried peting him then stopped after he realized I was being catious and gentle,but he's walking and happy like normal and even wanted a scratch

He may have bad hips or mild arthritis that was exacerbated after being confined to the car and he is stiff and tense now. Not wanting to jump up can be a sign if back or hip pain. Rest is the best thing since he is walking normally but if it does not improve then ibwiukd get him checked to see if needs medicine to help
