It is difficult to determine what the lumps are just by looking at them. It is best for you to have your local vet examine them. The vet will likely want to do an aspirate of the masses to help determine what they are. They may be something benign like a fatty tumor but they could also be malignant. You need to know what types of tumors they are so you can know what is the best way to treat them. https://pethelpful.com/dogs/About-Dog-Fine-Needle-Aspiration Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could actually be a normal anatomical structure that you perhaps had not seen before. You can check to see if it is in the other side as well. If there is something similar on the other side then that makes it more likely to be a normal finding. Otherwise it could be a benign or malignant growth. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At that time they can also tell you if it really seems to be a lump or not. I am really hoping for something benign. Good luck and have a good night!
