After UTI, my cat won't come inside. Why does she prefer the garage?

My cat was put in the garage because she had a bad UTI and she was literally urinating on everything. She had everything out there as if she was inside. I took her to the vet and got her on medication. Her uti eventually cleared but now she will not come inside. I bring her inside for a second and she instantly growls and gets very mean. I even tried bring her in my room without any other cats and she is just not happy anymore until I put her back in the garage. What do you think is going on? Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 9 lbs

If there are other cats in the house hold then she may actually be happier in the garage. Multicat households tend to have a lot of increased stress levels as well as urinary disorders.
