My puppy has a lump under his jaw that swells but we give him ibuprofen and the swelling goes down but theres still a hard bump. A few days ago he was outside and got his jaw hooked on a wire under his tongue I was able to get him off it and there wasn't any blood or cut under his mouth but later that night is when all the jaw swelling happened. And when it's swollen you can see a little red spot like a bite so I'm not sure what it is if its from the wire or a bite.

Please do not give Bandit anymore ibuprofen. This medication can be very toxic to dogs. The swelling could be from trauma or infection. Ideally, he should be examined by your veterinarian for confirmation and treatment. Antibiotics may be indicated for infection and appropriate antiinflammatories can be dispensed as well.
