My 2-year-old black lab has a muzzle lesion for a week. What is it?

About 7 days ago a lesion appeared on my 2 year old black labs muzzle. Any ideas?

I would be very suspicious that may be a ring worm or a bacterial infection. She needs to be checked by a vet because a ring worm can be contagious to people and other animals. You vet can take a sample and culture it to see the cause. Until you can get seen you can apply Neosporin topically
