My cat has itchy ears and blood clots. Is it a serious ear infection?

Gary is 1+ years old. Himaliyan persian breed. He has itchy ears. There were some blood clots few days before. And other ear is ok and dry.. m attaching both ears photos below. Is it a serious case.

It does look like Gary has a serious ear infection. I recommend making an appointment at your veterinarian to have his ears cleaned and and to get medication to treat the infection. They can also check to make sure Gary does not have ear mites. I hope Gary feels better soon and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
