My dog's eyes are red, cloudy, and sensitive to light. What's wrong?

Over night my dogs eyes became red and a little cloudy and is sensitive to light. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered

As eye issues can progress quickly and cause irreversible damage if not properly addressed, I would recommend Linus be evaluated by his regular veterinarian, have any necessary testing done (eye stain, tear production, pressure check) and start any treatment if needed.
