Pet's info: Dog | Shiba Inu | Male | 2 months and 22 days old | 10 lbs
I just brought home a Shiba Inu and I am a bit worried about his health. He is 12 weeks old and training him is nearly impossible. He is so timid he will rarely let us touch him. So praise is very much impossible. He also won't approach us to eat a treat. He would rather cower In the corner of the room or in his crate than walk 6 inches for a treat, will only eat if he is near his kennel with the food and water right outside of it for him to graze, eating less than 1cup/day (dry kib). This ok?

1 cup for a 12week old puppy should be ok as long as it is a complete, balanced puppy food. I would consider adding a calming supplement such as kalm aid as well as pheromone difusers to help alleviate the anxiety and ease the transition to a new house and family
