Pet's info: Dog | Akita | Male | unneutered | 11 months and 24 days old | 55 lbs
I own a Japanese Akita who's nearly a year old no. He lives in the garden so he has enough space, half the garden is flagstones and that has his large shed/doghouse on and a nice clean space. When it rains the earthy side gets all muddy a s he prefers to sit in the mud. So by the time he's ready for his morning walk he's covered in mud daily in winter. I bath his legs and underbelly to clean him before a walk as it's way to muddy and cold for a full bath. Is there anything wrong with this

To be honest I do not see anything ''medically'' wrong with it. As long as he has a place to stay warm enough if it is too cold during wintertime that should be absolutely fine. Akitas are indeed very tough dogs. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
