Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | neutered | 20 lbs
Went to hospital this morning since he didn’t feel . He threw up twice in 24 hours but ulatrsound showed a stone has passed into Bladder from kidney. Vet said pulsating could be from pain. Its persisted. It only happens a few time an hour and only last ten seconds but I just want to make sure since he is Maltese that the bloat issue is rare. His stomach is normally bloated but from Cushings disease. He’s 13 years old. Is it safe to monitor overnight and go back in AM.He’s eating but won’t move

Bloat with a gastric torsion would be rare in a small dog, like a Maltese. If he is still having problems then you should call your vet and have him rechecked. If he is having trouble moving around then your vet can check his back and neck and make sure he isn't having an issue with his spine. Your vet may need to run some blood-work to help diagnose the problem and/or repeat x-rays. He may need an anti-inflammatory and pain medications to make him more comfortable. Hope he feels better soon!
