Can I use betagen topical spray on an inch long gash that is slightly open and deep? It's on the right side on the bottom of her ribcage. Does it look like she needs stitches? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 50 lbs

Hi. It looks too old for stitches, but she needs to be seen for a clip and clean and antibiotics. I would not put anything on it until your veterinarian prescribes it. Tonight you can use neosporin. Keep it clean and dry.
