I have a maltese and she often licks her self, pull her hair out and her skin is itchy. I bath her with shampoo for dog skin care and nothing. She also has bad breath and dark spots in her mouth. She hates brushing teeth so i avoid that. She also knows sudnely start to breath heavy and she starts druling a lot. She doesnt want to eat her food and we tried everything but she is refusing to eat her food. I dont know what is the problem with her is it toothache, sickness... but we need help.

Hello, I am so sorry for your concerns with Darcy. It sounds like she has multiple issues, some of which are probably allergy driven. There are many medications & treatments to help with itchy skin, but we need to try & identify the underlying cause. It could be fleas, sarcoptic mange, food sensitivities, inhalant allergens from dust or pollen. There are just too many things that can only be routinely diagnosed with a good physical exam from your veterinarian. That is where you need to start in order to find the relief that Darcy deserves. I hope you can have her seen soon. Take care & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
