Concerned about Kirkland dog food reviews. Is it safe for my dog?

I was thinking about putting my dog on Kirkland brand dog food but it has some negative reviews on consumer affairs. What should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 5 years and 5 months old | 17 lbs

I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to make any purchasing decisions now that you can read everyone’s reviews! There are negative reviews on everything! I will tell you that in my 10+ years of being a veterinarian my patients who are on Kirkland brands seem to do just fine. They have not had any recalls, and I rarely see gastrointestinal problems the way I do with several other “high end “ brands. It is actually one of my preferred diets. I hope this helps!
