Why did my healthy dog poop in her sleep? Should I be concerned?

My female pitbull had one small piece of poop escape her in her sleep. She poops ALOT , this dogs metabolism is crazy, but otherwise she is healthy and happy. Should I worry? Or can this happen once in a blue moon?? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 10 months old | 55 lbs

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! As long as she is normal otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about the poop escape. Perhaps she had to potty before she went to bed. You may try taking her out one last final time before bed time just to be sure. Thanks again for posting!
