Looks like a burn mark on my dogs nose and lip . It scabbed up pretty bad and not today when we got home from all day traveling notice red bump where she keeps licking it. She was on a job site thursday and i thought she put nose in spray foam or adhesive it was crusty and i scraped off . Now kind of pusy . Not sure what to do

From the picture it actually looks more like a deep skin infection to me. This could be bacterial or fungal, or even a hypersensitivity reaction (less likely). I would recommend that she be examined by your veterinarian soon. They may look at a sample under the microscope to help determine what therapies might be most helpful. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.

Hi and thank you for your question on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! From the pictures it appears like a scab or a cyst that ruptured (more common in older dogs than younger dogs). You can clean it daily with 3% hydrogen peroxide and if it does not appear to be healing up in a few days you may need to take her into her veterinarian to take a closer look. Best to you!

Poor girl! It looks like a little local infection or a cyst that she has rubbed all the hair off of. Since you feel like there is a second one now developing, I would have your vet take a look at it before more come up. Your vet can aspirate that bump if needed to make sure it isn't cancerous. They will also be able to prescribe some antibiotics if needed. I hope this helps!
