My puppy lost a tooth, no blood, new one growing. Should I be worried?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 12 days old | 20 lbs

Today I found my puppies tooth on the ground, there was no sign of blood or pain, should I be worried? Don't know when it fell out but I see another tooth growing.

This is totally normal, as puppies have baby teeth like ours that they shed. By the time Snow is around 6 months old she should have all her adult teeth and all the baby, or deciduous teeth, should be gone. Not to worry--hope that helps!
