My new budgie won't eat his food after two days. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | 0.5 lbs

I bought my budgie two days ago and he is still not touching his food.He jumps around and plays with his toys but his bowl is full.I do not know what to do.

Your budgie is probably just stressed and trying to get used to his new environment. Try offering him a special treat, like a seed or a piece of fruit to entice him to eat. Even if he is not eating his food be sure to put fresh food in the cage each day. He may also only be eating when no one is watching him.
