Cat throwing up, hairball suspected. Is coconut oil safe? What to do?

My cat has thrown up three times today the first two times it was food the most resent time it was just clear liquid I think that he has a hairball stuck he has been acting normal other than that i've played with him and he's drank water i've heard that coconut oil will help can it? I don't have access to a vet right now so what do i do. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7 years and 8 months old

Absolutely NOT on the coconut oil. That could cause worse issues like pancreatitis and/or diarrhea. Please keep in mind that many different things can cause vomiting in cats so Tigger may or may not have hairballs. I strongly recommend you get him to a vet for an exam.
