Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 14 lbs
My 12 year old male shih tzu has congestive heart failure which we are treating with enalpril, vetmedin and fuorsemide. He has now started blowing bubbles out of one of his nostrils. Is this related to the chf and what is course of action to take? I'm still awaiting a call back from his vet and your help is greatly appreciated.

Bubbles from the nose could be a sign of a lot of fluids in the lung, this would come along with coughing and severe respiratory distress in most cases though. the course of action would usually be IV furosamide to start with.
