Is wet food good for cats? How does it affect their weight, teeth, and water?

Will putting my cat on a wet food diet benefit him? Will it affect his weight? Teeth? Will his water intake improve?

Putting Ming on wet food will help to increase the water intake and may not change his weight. Adding additional water to the canned food can further help. This generally benefits the kidneys the most. The teeth don't really see a huge benefit from most dry food since cats don't really chew very well regardless. I hope I have answered your questions.
