My cat threw up. How long to wait to feed her if she seems normal?

My cat seems to have thrown up sometime today. I was out running errands all day and found it this evening when I got home. I was just wondering how long I need to wait to feed her? She otherwise seems normal. Nothing weird in litter box and only one pile of throw up. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 10 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about Maggie. Cats will occasionally vomit for unknown reasons, however, it is most often not associate with a severe illness. If she seems to be otherwise fine and no longer having vomiting, and if she is interested in eating, then you can feed her a smaller portion than what she normally eats. You can start off with a 1/4 of what she normally eats, if she tolerated it well, then you can feed her more 30-60 minutes later. Hope this helps and best of luck,
