Why does my parakeet have varying poop sizes before laying eggs?

I think my bird might lay eggs. But here's the issue. She has large poop AND small poop. She is a parakeet, by the way. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female | unspayed

Hi Kawall and thank you for the question, It is not unusual for a bird to have poops (urofeces) of varying sizes. This in itself is not necessarily a problem. Sometimes before or after egg laying they have exceptionally large poops because they have not been passing them regularly.
