According to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product, it's composed of 73% sulfur, 25% mineral oil, and 2% pine oil. To my knowledge, none of these ingredients has any activity against mange, and I'm assuming that's what you're attempting to treat, since this cream is advertised as a treatment for mange. The MSDS goes on to state that the cream may aggravate dermatitis (skin irritation) and that the safety of using it around the eye has not been determined. I would recommend steering clear of this product, since it sounds like it might just make things worse. You should know that demodex mange (which is the kind that typically appears around the eye) is very uncommon in healthy adult dogs, so I would advise having your veterinarian check this issue out, as it could be allergies or ringworm, or even potentially an internal hormonal disease.
