What are the best brushes for poodles and how to clean mouth stains?

What the are the different types of brushes that are suitable to brush different parts of my dog especially the face. Any tips for poodles? My dog also gets dark stains and hard bits around the mouth how can i clean and prevent this. Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | unspayed | 12 years and 1 month old | 11.05 lbs

Poodles like Chacha typically have curly hair so you have to be careful not to get any snarls or knots in her hair. I would recommend a brush with rubber coated round tips so that it does not scratch her skin. A smaller size is likely better. Keeping her coat trimmed will also help, especially around her mouth and eyes. The brown discharge from the eyes is not unusual and is difficult to get rid of. Some dogs take a supplement called Angel Eye that helps. Sometimes giving them only distilled water helps. And sometimes you do all this and nothing changes! Regularly shampoo around her mouth to keep that area clean. The build up is due to saliva/drool. I hope this helps!
