Dog bite wound with stitches looks infected after licking. Vet needed?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 41 lbs

is this dog bite infected? he was bitten a week ago and we took him to the vet and had 2 sets of stitches has been taking his meds as prescribed i think he got to the stitches and started to lick them and i’m not sure if it needs vet attention

Yes, this does look infected and I would recommend taking him back for a vet exam. The wound will definitely need to be cleaned out and the vet may want to prescribe antibiotics for it. For now, it's good to keep the wound clean by flushing it with clean water twice a day. Flush the wound for at-least 10 minutes using good pressure. Gently wipe away crusts or other debris. I don't recommend putting any soaps or antiseptics on the wound for now. Draeko will probably just lick it away and it may delay healing. I hope that helps and Draeko gets better soon.
