Why is my dog shaking, panting, not eating, and hiding under the bed?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 5 years and 1 month old | 14 lbs

My dog she a chi-poo and she 7 years old she shaking and panting and wont drink water or eat her food she did it for a few minutes stop and then she did it again and then stop. She hasn’t done it a third time but she just laying under my bed i dont know what it might be

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Bonita! She is adorable! There are many reasons for panting, shaking and hiding. She could have been scared by something, have a fever or she could be painful. If she is not eating or drinking and this behavior continues I recommend that you take her to the Vet for an exam. If they find that she is painful they will prescribe appropriate medications for the condition they diagnose her with. I hope this helps and I wish Bonita a speedy recovery!
