My hamster was attacked by cage mate. Why is she still acting strange?

Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female

I have 2 hamsters they have been in the same cage since I got them from the Pet store I realized one was not acting herself so I watched her she was shaking and making squeaky sounds so I stayed up with her and this morning I cleaned her cage and I noticed my other hamster had attacked her so I separated them in different cages she is still acting weird but she still eats, drinks and goes on her wheel and goes up and down the tunnels I think she was cold so I moved her into a warmer spot

It sounds like you are doing everything correctly. Separating them is the best idea because once they start fighting it usually will not subside. It sounds like she is doing OK but continue to monitor her for signs of illness/distress. If you notice anything or you become worried then please get her to a local exotics veterinarian for an exam. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
