Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 11 months old | 12 lbs
My cat Melly has been scratching at her neck the last few days. She has scabs all around her neck. Today her right eye looks swollen. I thought maybe fleas, but my other cat isn't scratching herself. And I checked for fleas and didn't see any. I was just wondering what this could be?

Molly's lesions indicate there is an infection present. Its usually bacteria but fungus (ringworm-which you can get) can also be possible. I would recommend to take Melly into to see her doctor. The doctor will treat her for the infection and may recommend ringworm testing. It could just be a one time thing but fleas, food allergy and environmental allergy can all present like this. They eye being swollen could signify infection on the eye lid, infection of the eye or a scratch. Try to get her in today of tomorrow. Best of luck!
