Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old
My cat is sick and I've been told to feed him chicken and rice. But he is not earring the rice, only the chicken. What should I do?

Not to worry - cats are obligate carnivores, meaning that they primarily need meat in their diet. As a bland diet for cats, I typically only recommend offering boiled white meat chicken without rice. Just continue to feed Diggle the chicken for now, as directed. When it comes time to return him to a normal diet, be sure to mix the chicken with his normal food gradually over 5-7 days. I hope this helps and that all goes well!
