6-month pug not eating, diarrhea, eating wood. What can the vet do?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 13 days old | 12 lbs

Male pug pup 6 months old. Badly off food for 15 days. He eats everything including wood and stones. Xrays and blood tests taken and all ok. Anti sickness antibiotics injections haven't helped. Diarrhoea smells of urine. Barium meal cancelled yest as hadn't eaten. What can we ask vet to do? Exploratory surgery ?

Poor Rocco! Your vet could do a barium study, abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, and/or exploratory surgery to help determine the cause of the vomiting. It is very concerning that the anti-vomiting injections are not helping. If your vet is not able to diagnose and treat then you could take him to a veterinary specialist for more advanced diagnostics. Hope he gets better soon!
