Why is my dog coughing, breathing hard, and choking up foam?

My dog is a pit bull and she's breathing hard and she keep coughing and choking up foam. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | 4 years and 10 months old | 50 lbs

It sounds like Roxie has developed kennel cough which is like doggy flu. The cough is typical and the foam is produced due to airway irritation. I would make an appointment as she will benefit from an antinflammatory and may need an antibiotic. You could give her a little warm honey in water to help her in the mean time.
