Is Montmorillonite Clay safe for cats? Can I add new food treats?

Nature variety instinct has Montmorillonite Clay in their ingredients, is this good for female cat? Also my female cat eats orijen six fishes and I wanted to give her nature variety lid rabbit as trear every other day, is this okay? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

There are a number of foods that include Montmorillonite Clay. The only medical concern for this ingredient is in animals that have silica bladder stones (which are rare). I don't see any problem with giving her another food as a treat unless she has any GI upset from it. I think some variety in a diet is a good thing. And both those companies are good quality.
