My cat shook off Profender. Did he absorb enough for protection?

I've just applied my cats 3 monthly profender, he then proceeded to shake his head for a second and shook a lot of it back off, how do I know if he has absorbed enough to keep him protected? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered | 6 lbs

That’s a tough one. There isn’t a good way to know for sure. However if you call the help number on the back of the package you can ask them if it would be ok to reapply earlier than the 30 day time frame. Some topical products can safely be reapplied once every 2 weeks in cases like this where you want to ensure you have continuous protection. I hope this helps and best wishes with your pet Buddy.
