Can my 4-month-old puppy go out before all vaccinations are done?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 4 months and 3 days old | 28.4 lbs

I have a 4 month old pup who was rescued from the cat and dog Home and has had three temporary vaccinations. I was wondering if we can take her out as she has been home a week and isn’t seeing the vet until later this week, what’s the best advice? Also we have been told that she will need the full course of jags is this correct?

Yes you can take her out. She should have immunity from the previous vaccinations. Please complete the vaccinations, she needs the final one that’s due this week and she is now old enough to get her rabies vaccination. She should then be fully vaccinated for a year.
