Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 8 months and 12 days old | 7 lbs
My kitten meows excessively, especially at night. I've done research & most of the websites state that he could need food/water/attention. He has everything he could need. I would like to know how to control the meowing. ---There aren't other animals that would cause him to meow. My 3 year old cat hardly ever meows. Would his consant meowing be caused by the fact he isn't fixed & he is calling for a mate?

I totally understand how a very vocal cat can be frustrating. I would recommend having him neutered. A lot of times neutering will help with behavioral meowing. After you have him neutered make sure to hide toys and keep him engaged in activity to prevent him getting bored. I hope that helps
