Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am very sorry to hear about Sadie. If you are unable to care for Sadie anymore you can reach out to rescue organizations that rescue senior dogs and see if they will take her. There is such a rescue group in my area (PA/DE) though they tend to rescue from the SPCA. Another thing to think about is Sadie's quality of life. If you think she is suffering and her quality of life is poor then humane euthanasia is not wrong to consider. It would be ideal to rule out medical conditions first but most Veterinarians understand and respect a clients evaluation of the their animals quality of life. I hope this helps and I wish you and Sadie the best!
