Hi there! I have a chow chow and she keeps having a wet chest after drinking. Is there a way to prevent it? She is almost 3 months old. Thanks in advance. Pet's info: Dog | Chow Chow | Female | 2 months and 17 days old | 8.38 lbs

Hi there and thank you for your post! Unfortunately, Chow Chows can be quite the messy drinkers. If you groom Zoe, I would say to consider cutting her hair shorter so that the hair isn't as long and doesn't soak up as much water. Unfortunately this is not due to behavior and is difficult to fix because it is just how Zoe drinks. You can always try putting the water bowl at various Heights to see if this also helps limit the amount of water that runs onto the chest fur. I hope this helps!
