Why does my cat have sudden open, oozing, bleeding skin sores?

My cat has suddenly started getting these open sores all over his back and his ears and above his eyes. Some of them are oozomg and some of them are.nleeding. I noticed it starting about 5 days ago. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 9 years and 6 months old | 12 lbs

This could be a number of things, such as allergies to food or something in the environment, parasites, etc. Oftentimes, with inflammation in the skin, they will develop a secondary bacterial infection, which could account for the oozing and bleeding. While this isn't an emergency, I would strongly recommend taking Tai to a veterinarian as soon as you can in order to get it diagnosed and treated.
