My dog ate a mosquito coil. What should I do if he ingested it?

my dog ate a tiny bit of mosquitoe coil,does that mean any harm to him.he ate just 1 to 2% of it

If the coil was citronella based, there is no cause for concern. At worst, you may see some vomiting or diarrhea. A pyrethrin based product may cause more serious gastrointestinal upset and possibly neurologic symptoms such as tremors or seizures. It depends on how much was actually ingested instead of simply chewed. If Champ is showing no symptoms by now, he is likely in the clear. If he is symptomatic, he should be seen by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER.
