Is this a scab or ringworm on my cat's neck? Can I use human cream?

I came home from a vacation and found this on his neck i hope its just a scab but am curious if it ringworm and can use my fungal ointment from when i had infenteigo (I'm a wrestler) on him. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 13 lbs
