Hi is it okay for apoquel and piriton to be taken longterm together?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! There is no information in the literature on the use of these medications together longterm. In my experience, this has been well-tolerated and has not caused any adverse events in my patients. Good luck and best wishes!

    As far as apoquel is concerned it usually does not cause sedation. If you give the two medications a few days over lapping it should not cause a problem. However at anytime if he is not eating or drinking I would recommend contacting your vet fore further guidance. I hope that helps!
