Hi. I have an African Dwarf Frog that has dropsy. He is quarantined away from the rest of my fish. I happen to have minocycline, which I’ve heard is safe to use for invertebrates), but i’m not sure what dosage to use?

It is used on a 5 day course of treatment. You can dissolve 20mg of minocycline per 10 gallons of water on the first day. On days 2 through 5, dissolve 10mg per 10 gallons. Hopefully it will help. Dropsy has a very poor prognosis though, especially if bloating or swelling is evident.
