My puppy is 5 months old pitbull terrier. She has a lump on the outside of her cheek where her whiskers are, and it is scabbing. It’s not any red or pink color it’s just dry and scabbed. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 27 days old | 60 lbs

The lesion on Luna's face may be a bacterial infection, a fungal infection known as ringworm or due to a skin mite known as Demodex. Luna will need to see a veterinarian for an exam and a skin scrape to determine the correct diagnosis. Treatment is very different for each condition and they can all look similar, so testing needs to be done to be sure.
