My dog's umbilical scar is oozing, vet closed. What should I do?

My 4 yr old mastiff has some sort of discharge oozing from his umbilical scar? what do i need to do to help him? Our vet is closed today.. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 4 years old | 150 lbs

Hi there, I would make sure there isn't an opening through the skin first. If the skin is closed but there is just some discharge, you can clean it with a warm washcloth.
