Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 1 day old | 10 lbs

Couple questions!1) my puppy has eye boogers which I never seen before until yesterday, since yesterday it came out 3 times. Is it normal or something to worried about? 2)my puppy bites sometimes while playing and he got his first shots but recently he bite me hard and there was a drop of blood on his tongue and i got my tetanus shots like 10 years ago, do I need to get any shots?

You should talk to your dr about what vaccines you need and on what schedule due to the fact a veterinarian cannot legally provide advice on humans. As far the eye discharge, it may be due to allergens and dust accumulating in the eye or it may be the start of an infection. If his eyes are open and clean--which they appear to be--then the best thing to do is to rinse the eyes. If you notice any redness or swelling or he does not want to keep his eye open, then I would worry there is problem in his eye and he needs to be checked
