What causes weeping scabs and raw, itchy skin on my dog's ears?

Pet's info: Dog | Parson Russell Terrier | Male | neutered | 3 years old

My dog, parson Russel terrier, Spanish rescue, black scab appeared on outer ear flap, Now an open weeping wound, then same type of scab appeared on other ear this time on inside of flap and now that’s weeping and raw. He suffers with bad skin, dry, flaky and itchy.

Poor guy. I would recommend having Baxer seen by your vet for something like this. He may have an underying skin condition such as demodexx mites or a staph infection that is causing these skin lesions. His skin needs to be tested and possibly cultured to determine the underlying condition so that he receives proper treatment. I hope that your pet Baxter gets well soon. Best wishes and take care.
