My dog has red, oozing sores on chest/stomach. What can I do?

Hello, My dachshund/corgi mix can’t get in to see a vet until the 17th and I’m beginning to get worried. He has always had pretty inflamed paws and it seemed to be heightened when he came from outside. People have suggested a grass allergy and he is quite low to the ground so sometimes his chest gets wet being outside and he now has red, flaky, sometimes oozing sores on his chest and stomach. I have pictures that would show it better than I can explain.

His chest seems worse than his feet in those photos! an allergy is vet likely but for joe t seems it may be infected also. If you can't get in before next week you can try a medicated shampoo twice a week to help clean and rinse the skin and wipe the feet down after coming in from outside. You can apply a medicated powder between the Toes to help and give an antihistamine such as Benadryl.
