My female cat lives with neighbour male cat with about 5 days they also mated but i waned to return neighbour's cat but i know whether my female cat is in heat now or not i donot know to find that whether she is in heat or not? Lovely would only mate with the male cat if she was in heat, so if they mated, then yes she was in heat. Since they mated, it is highly likely she is pregnant not, and it should be fine to return the male cat to your neighbor.
